英國留學文書要怎樣才能得到審稿人的青睞呢?出國留學，去往英國留學，英國留學文書，?就如同找工作時的簡歷表一樣，出國留學申請文書中的個人陳述是申請學校時的重要環(huán)節(jié)，為何如此重要呢?
因為這是一份審稿人員對你的第一印象，審稿人員看不到你，不能跟你坐下來好好談談，只能靠著冰冰冷冷的檔案，字數(shù)通常有限。
要怎樣才能得到審稿人的青睞呢?
經過多年的審核申請文書經驗，我們發(fā)現(xiàn)同學們最常犯錯的地方或遺失的重點如下：
1、請依照學校要求字數(shù)撰寫
每所學校都會有不同字數(shù)要求，有些要求在1000字內(例如倫敦政治經濟學院LSE) 或是600字內(KCL)，這些要求如果沒有做到，很容易就會被學校刷下了!
2、請依照學校要求內容撰寫
大部份學校要求都是需要寫申請此專業(yè)的動機，為何決定申請此學位，專業(yè)與你學業(yè)背景還有工作有和相關，未來的就業(yè)計劃。
另外，值得注意的是，英國留學文書申請比較偏向學生將學業(yè)背景還有經驗與專業(yè)做個連接。
也就是說，一定要圍繞在此專業(yè)相關的資訊，如果添加不相干的容易被刷下來。
實際例子：
LSE網(wǎng)頁上面清清楚楚就寫了他門不會錄用的PS內容(poor personal statement)：
“I was the captain of the school football team and excelled in most other sports. I have also worked part-time in a sports store to earn money for university.”
此句子并沒有展現(xiàn)沒有你對此專業(yè)以及對學習上進入大學后有任何幫助。
因此，應該要這樣修改，由此例句來對照。
“I was the captain of the school football team, and this has taught me the importance of working together as a team, and allowed me to prioritise my time between my studies and football practice. I feel that this has provided me with the experience to successfully balance my academic and social life, and I plan to continue this balance whilst at university."

以下例句皆為必須避免的(轉自LSE官網(wǎng))
"I have always dreamed of coming to LSE since I was young. It has been a dream of mine to study at this institution, which is well renowned for its social science courses.”
(無實際內容以及個人啟發(fā)，不受青睞。)
“I am currently studying History, English and Business and Management at Higher level and Italian, Maths and Chemistry at Standard level in the International Baccalaureate, and feel that these subjects are providing me with a solid background for university study.”
(這些你學過的科目不用在重復，因為審稿人員也可以看你的transcript 得知你所學習過的科系以及分數(shù)，這些內容只是浪費空間)
“I want to study History because I want to be a world class Historian, and feel that this degree will help me. I am especially interested in Ancient History, particularly the history concerning the Roman Empire. I am fascinated by the way in which the empire was run, and the events that led to its downfall.”
(這個是重點了! 因為LSE 沒有Ancient history 的課程，這樣寫就代表你連看課程設置都沒有，當然不會上)
“It is my dream to become an alumni of the School, and I am sure that as I am the top student of my class, you will offer me a place."
(太過傲慢，需要積極正面說說自己的好且謙虛，千萬不要自以為是)
