日前，英國(guó)簽證與移民局(UK Visa & Immigration)UKVI發(fā)布最新消息:

持Tier4簽證的學(xué)生，如果需要補(bǔ)考或者重修(包括不能在規(guī)定的時(shí)間內(nèi)完成學(xué)業(yè)的)，允許在英國(guó)境內(nèi)申請(qǐng)簽證延期，不受Academic Progression規(guī)則的限制。

無(wú)論簽證到期與否，學(xué)生都必須在補(bǔ)考前申請(qǐng)簽證延期，補(bǔ)考后再申請(qǐng)將不能獲得免修資格。

如果學(xué)生已經(jīng)參加了補(bǔ)考，然后發(fā)現(xiàn)需要更多的滯留時(shí)間，則必須回國(guó)重新申請(qǐng)簽證。

Following the recent changes to UKVI Academic Progression Rules, Tier 4 students who need to do resits or repeats (and are unable to complete their studies within the time granted) are allowed to apply for a visa extension from within in the UK. These students are exempt from the Academic Progression rule.

However, students must apply BEFORE resitting, regardless of whether they have leave remaining on their current visa or not. They will not qualify for an exemption after resitting. If they do resit and then find that extra time is required – they’ll have to return to their home country and apply for another visa to complete their studies.
