“洗頭”的英文真不是“wash head”，說錯(cuò)了趕緊改過來！

那么今天的問題就來啦，你知道“洗頭”用英文該怎么說嗎？

我們知道wash是“洗”，head是“頭”，但是“洗頭”可千萬(wàn)別翻譯成“wash head”，簡(jiǎn)直太中式英語(yǔ)了。

洗頭洗的是我們的頭發(fā)，所以很多人也會(huì)翻譯成“wash hair”，不能說是絕對(duì)錯(cuò)誤的，但在實(shí)際情況中，很多外國(guó)人不太會(huì)使用這一表達(dá)。

表達(dá)wash hair更偏向于“清洗”頭發(fā)，就好像你頭發(fā)上粘了臟東西，你準(zhǔn)備把頭發(fā)wash干凈，強(qiáng)調(diào)了“洗”這個(gè)動(dòng)作。

真正地道的說法是：

外國(guó)人更喜歡用shampoo這個(gè)詞。這個(gè)詞相信大家并不陌生，平常用的洗發(fā)水瓶子上就有。需要注意的是，shampoo作為動(dòng)詞有洗頭發(fā)的意思。

他隔天洗一次頭。

3、bury one's head in the sand

從字面上看，該短語(yǔ)的意思是“把頭埋進(jìn)沙子里”。在說該短語(yǔ)的真正意思之前，我們先來看一個(gè)與之相關(guān)的神話。

據(jù)說，在自然界中，每當(dāng)鴕鳥面對(duì)捕食者時(shí)就會(huì)把自己的頭往沙子里扎，它們這樣做是認(rèn)為看不到危險(xiǎn)，那么危險(xiǎn)就會(huì)消失。所以，bury one's head in the sand的真正意思就是“逃避現(xiàn)實(shí)，自欺欺人”。

4、hit the nail on the head

大家都知道nail是“大頭釘，圖釘”的意思，但千萬(wàn)別按字面翻譯成“在腦袋上釘釘子”。因?yàn)闆]有人會(huì)在腦袋上去釘釘子...

眾所周知，頭是人最重要的身體部位。所以，這個(gè)短語(yǔ)的真正意思就是“一針見血；切中問題要害”。

The last observation of yours has hit the nail on the head.
你最后的意見真是一針見血。

Richard is very smart. He always hits the nail on the head and knows how to solve problems efficiently.

5、To face head-on

理解該短語(yǔ)的意思關(guān)鍵在于head-on，作為副詞它有“迎頭；頭朝前地”。因此，to face head-on的意思就是“勇敢面對(duì)”。

John was blind from childhood but his parents have always been proud of him. He's always been used to facing his disabilities head-on.
